For 15 years, Justin led a variety of commercial teams across General Electric’s Energy and financing units. As Commercial Leader within GE’s Renewables Hybrids Unit, Justin led origination, development, and financing efforts for hybrid energy projects.
Prior to this role, Justin was a founding member of the Distributed Energy Solutions incubator within GE Power. With a strong background in financial structuring, Justin spent 10+ years at GE Capital in various capacities including Managing Director of GE Corporate Finance and Distributed Energy market leader for GE Industrial Finance.
Byrne Huddleston is co-founder and CEO of Green Bridge Energy, a leading renewable energy financing and investment firm in the middle market segment that has joined to create Sequestra. Prior to this role, he spent 16 years with GE Capital in various commercial and leadership roles focused on structured finance and leasing to commercial and industrial companies in the US. Mr. Huddleston holds an MBA from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and B.A. from Randolph-Macon College.
William Volker is the founder and President of Efficiency Energy LLC. He is an expert in the Internal Revenue Code Section 179D Deduction for Energy Efficient Buildings, its Special Rule for Government-Owned Buildings, and the relevant legislation, regulation and challenges to proper implementation. The Efficiency Energy 179D Allocation Model has been presented to the US Green Building Council, dozens of industry trade groups and associations including the National Association of State Energy Officials, the National Association of College and University Business Officers, National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, and was recognized by Florida Tax Watch. Mr. Volker’s designed best practices have been adopted by state and local government agencies nationally as well as consulted by United States federal agencies including the US Department of Defense, General Services Administration and Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. Volker earned MS Accounting and BS Analytical Finance degrees from Wake Forest University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Richard Juday is the Chief Executive Officer of Efficiency Energy LLC and has overseen the firm’s national expansion after proving concept among his public finance clients in Florida and Colorado. With over 35 years’ experience as a public finance professional and fixed income institutional sales, Mr. Juday has held senior executive positions at DLJ/Credit Suisse Investment Banking and Capital Markets Divisions, First Southwest Company and Wells Fargo as Senior Banker or Placement Sales Executive for more than $8 Billion in municipal bond underwritings. Mr. Juday graduated with a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida.
Eliot has more than 25 years of experience in the construction, energy, and high technology industries. For the past 20 years, he has led efforts within General Electric to advance technology and market development for smart grid, renewable energy, and carbon reduction. He particularly led efforts to commercialize GE’s Microgrid Solution as GE’s Microgrid Sales Leader, which resulted in a new business unit being formed at GE. In addition, he started up GE Energy’s Government Solutions Business and served as its Business Leader. He was also a member of the study team that helped structure what eventually became GE’s ecomagination initiative.
Prior to joining GE, Eliot was Executive Vice President for MetroNexus, a $1.2B global technology/real estate asset company that he started-up with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of The Gnome Group; a global turnkey design-build firm for data centers that he started up and sold to Morgan Stanley as part of the MetroNexus venture. He has also worked with other technology focused companies including Teleglobe International and MCI Communications.
Eliot was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. He also holds an MBA from American Intercontinental University.
